About Supplements:
Supplements can refer to a variety of things, vitamins, minerals, herbs, etc., that we use to "supplement" the body and help improve general health/well-being and symptoms. They come in different formulations such as tinctures, capsules, gel caps, liquids, tablets, gummies, powders, or even topical creams. When used correctly (and often in conjunction with medications) they can be a very powerful tool.
Supplements are useful for anyone! It is rare to find someone who is not deficient in any vitamin or mineral, or who could not benefit from the addition of supplements to help improve both physical and mental well-being.

Qualified Providers at Red Sands:
More about Supplements
How It Works
All our providers here at Red Sands can guide you on the use of supplements. Talk to your provider and let them know you want to learn more about them and work on introducing them into your healthcare regimen.
To start, your provider will discuss your current supplementation & nutrition, and talk to you about collecting information through lab work to establish baseline levels. Following this, you and your provider will explore ideas of where to start adding them into your care routine.
What to Expect
One of the beauties of supplements is that they typically do not require a prescription. Most are available over the counter and are readily available anywhere you do most of your grocery shopping. At Red Sands, we also offer a full line of supplements from a trusted, quality source that are only able to be purchased by a licensed prescriber.
Supplements can be significantly beneficial to your long-term mental and physical well-being goals. Some supplements offer very quick relief of symptoms, such as those that aid with sleep or anxiety. However, others will take some time to see the results. Often the changes made by supplements happen so gradually that a significant change isn't noticed, but rather a gentle lessening of the symptoms and their disruptive influence in your life.
