Ashley Hiné
Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner
Ashley Hiné is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Board Certified (PMHNP-BC) at Red Sands Psychiatry, where she serves patients across the lifespan in all areas of mental health. In addition to her experience as a mental health provider, she served for over ten years as an acute and long-term care nurse, providing her with rich expertise in patient-centered care.
Ashley attended nursing school at Chamberlain University. After which, she spent the next ten years working as an emergency department nurse in multiple states, serving vastly different patient populations for various hospital systems. During this time, she became aware of the significant disparities in healthcare, particularly in psychiatry/mental health. Witnessing this inequality motivated Ashley to become a part of the solution in providing equal, affordable, and safe patient-centered care for all. Accordingly, she returned to Chamberlain University to further her education, where she earned her MSN (Master of Science in Nursing) with a specialty as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
Ashley is friendly, driven, and resourceful. She believes in a person-centered approach to care - no cookie-cutter or blanket coverage approach is in her repertoire. She works with patients as a teammate, providing resources and tools along the way while encouraging patients to take an active approach in forging ahead on their mental health journey. Her primary goal as a mental health provider is to inspire others to care for themselves, to believe in themselves, to love themselves, and to share who they are with the world.
