More about Our Care
How it Works
Sessions are based on a client’s energy, capacity, and current state of adjustment. Individual therapy is the primary format for care, but couples or family sessions can be extremely beneficial.
Care can be short-term (adjustment-focused) or ongoing, offering support over time as needs change.
Red Sands offers both in-person and telehealth care. Contact us for details!
What to Expect
At Red Sands, you can expect compassionate, individualized, and pragmatic care. Explore the emotional impact and practical day-to-day challenges of the diagnosis. Over time, therapy will help you process grief, fear, frustration, or identity changes without immediately rushing towards “acceptance”.
Therapy may focus on coping strategies for managing stress, communication, and role changes in relationships. Family or partner involvement may be included when helpful.
