Faith Crisis
Therapy and Counseling
About Faith Crises:
A faith crisis occurs when the spiritual or religious structures that once provided certainty and comfort begin to unravel. This disruption often triggers a complex mix of grief, anxiety, and relational strain, as individuals navigate the tension between their evolving personal beliefs and their community or family systems.
Red Sands offers a comfortable, judgment-free space to explore beliefs, spirituality, religious trauma, shame, spiritual transitions, faith crises, religious identity concerns, and beyond.
Seeking therapy for faith crises can provide the affirmation and understanding needed to process spiritual grief, reduce chronic stress, and protect important relationships.

More about This Service
How it Works
Faith Crisis therapy is offered in individual, couples, or family sessions, either in-person or via telehealth at our St. George, Utah office.
Length and frequency of treatment will be determined on a case-by-case basis. Sometimes other therapy modalities can be recommended to process deeper experiences or trauma.
Group therapy can also be very beneficial. Contact us for details about current groups!
What to Expect
Red Sands offers a safe, non-judgmental space to untangle the stress of a faith crisis. Clients can openly express doubts, fears, questions, and other previously suppressed (or judged) emotions. Together, we work on lowering anxiety, rediscovering personal balance, and building the communication skills needed to navigate changing dynamics with loved ones.
