ADHD
(Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)
About ADHD:
ADHD (Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder) is a neurodivergent condition that significantly impacts a person’s ability to focus, manage tasks, and follow through on responsibilities—whether in school, at work, or at home. Additionally, ADHD also affects the ability to make and keep friends, and romantic partners, as well as maintain routines. In short, it affects almost every aspect of a person's life.
ADHD has been gathering more awareness in the last several years, especially as more adults are taking their children in to be evaluated, only to discover that they themselves may have been living with undiagnosed ADHD.

More about ADHD
How is it Diagnosed
You will meet with one of our providers who are educated and licensed to evaluate for and diagnose ADHD or other disorders. While our support staff are truly amazing at what they do, they are not licensed to diagnose or offer suggestions regarding symptoms.
What to Expect
Your first appointment with your provider typically lasts about an hour, with follow-up visits taking approximately 30 minutes. During your initial visit, your provider will explore your symptoms, family history, and various aspects of your daily life to gain a fluent understanding of your experiences. In addition to assessing for ADHD, your provider will also conduct a thorough screening for other potential conditions, as ADHD symptoms may be indicative of something else going on, presenting itself as classical ADHD symptoms.
All our providers work hard to make this a pleasant, stress-free, and enjoyable experience.
