What to Expect
At Red Sands, care is a collaborative process designed to provide emotional relief and structured solutions. The counselor will ask about physical health, living arrangements, family dynamics, and major recent changes. From here, you’ll work to identify stressors, understand what is causing the most anxiety, and establish clear goals to move forward. Counseling provides a dedicated, judgment-free zone to voice thoughts that may be uncomfortable to share with family and friends. Practical skills and coping strategies are also discussed, and psychological tools can be taught to handle daily stressors.
